CleanSweep is a lightweight, PEP8-compliant Python script that removes unwanted junk files from a Windows computer. It runs faster than the majority of cleaner applications known today and requires no installation, so it leaves no file footprint on the machine. The application sports two modes of verbosity — one for quickly removing files without any user input (non-verbose), and one which requires permission from the user and gives detailed statistics of bytes saved and a file removal report (verbose).
The code for CleanSweep is PEP-8 compliant, open-sourced, and freely available from Github.
